Recently got a copy of Dining In by Alison Roman and found this recipe and can’t wait to make it. So, it’s early Sunday morning (4:30) and I can’t wait any longer. I want chocolate and I want it now!! I may have to start one of those “will cook my way through the whole book” adventure (or disaster). Getting my “Where Cooking Begins” by Carla Lalli Music today so maybe I’ll combine the two, who knows? … Did I mention that I can’t cook?

I spent most of yesterday looking at all the cards and pictures I saved from my children back from 1st and 2nd grade. Basically, according to all 4 kids, I make spaghetti and sometimes I am fun. I think I’m fun all the time.

 

For days and days it rained. I raced out to Target, got my rain gear and guess what? No more rain. But I’m ready. I want to run, jump, walk and dance on the beach in the rain and wind. Stop on the way home for a chocolate croissant and hot cup of joe. As I get older (and I will be adding another year this weekend) I find the simplest things bring me the most joy. Rain is in the forecast for Mother’s Day. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
